Doll Notes
I love Lovely Emma! I think her face is just so cute. I always liked the design of the figures, but I'm not a figure fan, so never bought one. However when I saw the blind box plushes I was so excited, because I love plushes! I have 2 of them and I think they're just so adorable. I love the coloured eyelashes especially.
Because of their vinyl faces, I had the idea of making one of them into a doll with a vinyl body. I thought it would either turn out awful or be an amazing hybrid, and I actually love how it turned out! I used a Parabox 45cm girl body for her, so she's in scale with my other vinyl MSD friends. This means she can wear all sorts of cute clothes that I have in my stash!
For her head, I dismantled the plush, removed the vinyl face and made a fabric head for it with cat ears that I reattached the face to. I then lined the bunny hood part of the plush and attached a ribbon tie, so that she can wear different cute hats if she likes. At the moment, the head is only held on by the ribbon ties of her bunny hood, but it's surprisingly secure! If I need to, later I will come up with a better way to keep her all together.
My friend referred to her as 'Lovely Emma Long-Legs' and I thought that was so funny founding that it's kind of stuck as being her name.
